This is particularly evident in the hydraulic shock-absorbing buffer which greatly mitigates recoil and enhances overall accuracy, as well as a cold-hammer forged barrel with a remarkably long service life. The result is a weapon that is controllable on rapid fire, accurate and comfortable to shoot. In addition, many of the APC’s controls are reminiscent of the AR-15 platform, such as the ambidextrous safety selector, the trigger assembly, and its ability to accept AR-type magazines. These similarities make for a better shooting experience for someone already acquainted with the AR-15.
