Dan Wesson’s Commander Classic offers high performance with a retro style. This 1911 features a bobbed frame profile with a shortened rear corner and a smooth mainspring housing – this optimizes concealability, reduces snag-hazards, and delivers a comfortable carry experience. This level of shooter comfort is complimented by the 25 LPI checkering on the front strap, and well as the checkered wood grips for superior control over the weapon. Other features of the Commander Classic include an aesthetically pleasing overall design. The pistol’s flats are brushed, and a traditional cut retains the lines of a vintage 1911. The Commander Classic is also equipped with a long K-style trigger, and a tactical, skeletonized hammer is included to reduce weight and maintain a clean look.
