The Heavy Fluted contour increases stiffness and cooling surface area while trimming weight compared to a full heavy profile-ideal for sustained strings where point-of-impact consistency matters. - Machined from 416R stainless steel with 5R button rifling (1:8 twist) and treated with salt bath nitride inside & out this barrel resists wear and fouling yet cleans easily. Every Match barrel is stress relieved air-gauge tested MPI inspected and headspace verified.
